INITIATIVE ON

FILIPINOS

with HIV

Sa huling dekada, the Philippines has gained notoriety as the country with the fastest-growing human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) epidemic in the Western Pacific region (LoveYourself, 2023). Additionally, ang general knowledge ng mga Pilipino tungkol sa HIV at People Living with HIV (PLHIV) is still highly stigmatized and perceived as a taboo topic, kaya lalong lumalala ang pagkalat ng misconceptions at stigmatization.

This WebZine aims to approach this major issue plaguing the country, especially the youth, in a consensus way. The webzine is named PLHIV. To spread awareness about common stigmas  relative to  People Living with HIV.
